Private Lessons

Private lessons are sliding scale 80–100€/hour, with a 2-hour minimum. Sliding scale means you choose what you pay based on your own financial situation — no questions asked. Payment (and deposits) can be made by bank transfer, PayPal, or in cash.

Lessons usually take place near S-Bahn Köllnische Heide (Berlin), unless we’ve agreed on another location. After booking, I will send you the exact location. You’re welcome to arrive up to 10 minutes before your lesson starts.

Upon request, lessons can also take place online.

The space is quiet and located on the 2nd floor without elevator access. If that is a barrier, I am happy to arrange a wheelchair-accessible space instead. Please let me know in advance.

There is usually free parking available nearby, and the nearest S-Bahn station is approximately a 7-minute walk away.

The space is smoke-free and fragrance-free, and an air purifier is available.

I am happy to wear a mask and/or take a COVID test before our session upon request.

Service animals and support persons are welcome.

Lighting can be adjusted to accommodate individual needs.

Private lessons can be conducted in German or English. I also have basic conversational knowledge of German Sign Language (DGS).

Lessons can also be conducted online via Zoom.

I also offer private lessons online if that is something you are interested in. Rates are the same as for in-person lessons.

You can use the regular booking form to book online lessons, just leave a note during the booking process that you would like the lesson to take place online.

Please keep potential time zone differences in mind when booking. Unless otherwise specified, online lessons are scheduled in the German time zone.

I am happy to use Google Meet, Zoom, or another platform that works well for you.

Deposits: For first-time bookings, I ask for a 25% deposit to secure your spot. This helps me avoid last-minute cancellations. Deposits can be sent via PayPal or via bank transfer. I will email you with details after your booking.

Cancellations: If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. Later cancellations are charged in full, since it’s very difficult for me to re-book the time on short notice.
